Snowboard Jackets

When it comes to functionality, snowboard jackets are not distinctly different from skiing jackets. Both are designed to protect the rider from the wind. Also, both should have a good lining to keep wet weather out.

In fact, snowboard jackets can double as skiing jackets. While a rider may want to purchase both to fill out his closet, the thriftier spender can purchase one to fill both purposes. Often the same manufacturers sell snowboard jackets and ski jackets.

The main difference between snowboard jackets and ski jackets are manifested in terms of style. Skiing is more of a traditional sport. Because snowboarding appeals more to younger people and teenagers, the styles and colors may be more radical.
